Ancestor:Descendants:

The spearhead crastrum replaced its ancestor. It works almost exactly like its ancestor, the thorny crastrum, with one major difference. All thorns except one have devolved slightly. The thorn in the middle instead grew long and solid. This was favored due to the new way of defense the spearhead crastrum has evolved. When it feels threatened the spearhead crastrum lets go of the suction cups and pushes itself forward with the "wings" all at once, giving it enough speed to hopefully pierce the skin off the enemy. It has also grown larger, this was favored since the bigger crastrums were able to get more power into the push. Other than this the spearhead crastrum works just like its ancestor.
