The speckled berry plant has adapted to grow in the shallow, fertile plains north of its previous habitat. It has grown taller and skinnier and its leaves became much thinner. On the top of its stalk, a clump of berries will grow, instead of just one like its predecessor, the berry puffplant, which it split off from.
