The spherehouse loppy split from its ancestor, the lolly poppy, and spread to Ittiz High Grassland. Its pigments changed to red photosynthesis, meaning it now absorbs green light, which is only useful in the high mountains of Sagan 4. What changed the most is the arrival of a strange mutation, that makes the sphere at the top of the stem show up in the middle of the stem, and in some individuals - several times. This new adaptation allows the spherehouse loppy to spread more spores around. This, in turn, helps it keep at pace with the rapidly spreading stacked gem orb.
