The sphrin are a direct progression from the leaping swarmer, thus replacing their ancestor. Their fin membranes have adapted to make it easier for them to leap out of the water. Their coloration has changed to help them blend in better with the water and avoid being eaten, though it is not one hundred percent effective. They can be found leaping out of the water in by the thousands, inhaling the clouds as they go.
