The Spiral Shrubite split from its ancestor the Column Shrubite. Like its ancestor it snatches up any objects it can in the water, gulps up whatever nutrients it might contain, and then builds it's shell around it. With time, these structures can grow huge. With so many other shrubite species to compete with its it has moved to the currently empty Ovi Coast here it could spread without any predators. What sets it apart from its relatives is its spiral growing pattern.
