Polar Spiral Swimmer Spiralmound |
The spirals genus group evolved from the polar spiral swimmer and replaced it along with the spiralmound. This genus group thrives in sources of water that have little oxygen and feed on methane for sustenance. They live in spiral-shaped colonies, which is how they got their name. Some of them tend to have flagella that help them move around faster.
