Ancestor:Descendants:

Splitting from its ancestor, the stiltwalker has evolved to feed over the competition. Possessing stilt-like legs, it walks along the bottom, especially in areas of soft sand, opening and closing its mouth, taking in food in the process. It possesses a series of spikes along its back in order to fend of darters, and possesses a hump in the middle of it which contains a more advanced three-chambered heart to meet the needs of its closed circulatory system. It is highly flexible, and the areas between limbs are capable of being bent. Its flesh is bitter in taste.
