As with its ancestor's change from its own ancestor, the super droopgea has grown much larger. Its tentacles are thicker, and it has a much wider base to support its weight. Unlike its relative, the plantentacle, its light sensing ability has diminished due to non-use. However, like its relative, it now is so large, two times of its ancestor, it can no longer simply split in two to reproduce. Generally, one of its arms will break away and grow into a new plant. This, coupled with its increase in size, allowed it to be so successful that it not only replaced its ancestor, but has spread to all the temperate and tropical coasts west of Barlowe and Dixon.
