Ancestor:Descendants:

The sprawling droopgea replaced its ancestor. The trend of growing bigger, coupled with more branches, is continued with this species. It has the a couple more upper branches, while its base has grown many large tentacles, a deformation during maturation that screwed up where the tentacles were supposed to grow. This worked to its advantage, and due to it reproductive method, it was able to multiply. It did not stay in the coasts, however, because its thicker branches fell into deeper waters.
