The tasertongue replaced its ancestor the dome-headed gulper. Due to all the other gulpers in Huggs-Yokto Savanna it has adapted to eat prey larger than just worms and other insect-like species. It has developed a mild shock in its long tongue to stun small prey. Once stunned it can use its prehensile fangs to bite into it. They are still small but can use its bioelectric tongue to ward of larger predators. Its eyes have improved to better search for prey such as the nouse and the norat.
During mating season males fight for mates like Earth's rams. It uses its tongue for smelling like its ancestor and will use it to "sniff" out small prey. They can also run quite fast to catch quick prey.
