Ancestor:Descendants:

The tomokanoti split from its ancestor, the lithoamoeba. It evolved an array of cilia, around its cell wall, which help it move food particles from around it to the "mouth" area. This mouth area is not an opening in the cell wall, but rather an area that dissolves material best into the cell.
