The toxplage replaced its ancestor, the purpplage. It has developed a symbotic relationship with the notox. Its fruits are so toxic that only the notox can eat them and spread its seeds. Like its ancestor its fruits produce strong acid that can dissolve the rocks thus allowing it to spread its roots. It is an important part of the ecosystem because it makes the soil fertile enough for larger flora to grow in it. It also must depend upon the toxplage ketter who pollinates its flowers. Without it it could not reproduce.
