Ancestor:Descendants:

The tropical crystamboo replaced its ancestor the crystamboo in Javen Tropical Woodland and spread to other tropical biomes in Darwin. This included the tropical rainforest, beaches, swamps and even tropical riparian. It grew even larger and towers over most other flora. Like its ancestor they have quick growth which can creates forests seemingly overnight. Growing 8 to 10 centimeters per day they can reach their full size within a few months' time. Like their ancestors, to sustain this rapid growth rate it has a shorter lifespan and had to give up some of its structural stability, thus they are very fragile and will break rather easily to strong winds and storms. Luckily, this is not fatal for them and they can regrow rather quickly.
