Ancestor:Descendants:

The trunk frabuki split from its ancestor. When a population of frabuki entered the Dass-Clarke Temperate Sea, they found a place with warmer temperatures that allowed more eggs to hatch and greater amounts of redmosses to feed on. Due to the significant increase of food intake, the trunk frabuki evolved by elongating to nearly twice its ancestor's size and it has evolved a longer trunk-like mouth that allows it to suck in more food. The trunk frabuki has also adapted to its environment by having its segments colored brown, which helps it blend in with the brown sand of the Dass-Clarke Temperate Sea. The trunk frabuki's spines have also elongated, which gives it better protection against predators. Other than these adaptations, it is much like its ancestor.
