The turridea split from its ancestor, the polar orbion and has moved to the warmer regions of Jaydoh. Due to the island habitat, it has grown to tower like size. In order to survive on the dry Jaydoh Island, it can absorb hundreds of liters water if it rains. Since it doesn't live in a polar biome any more, it has lost its antifreeze. Its pores can be extended and reduced. In the morning, the pores are extended to absorb dew, in the afternoon they are reduced to minimal water loss.
