Ancestor:Descendants:

The vandriswoop shellworm split from its ancestor, the hungry shellworm and inhabited the hot eastern Wright. It has evolved to become slimmer and faster moving for protection against predators. It can also bury itself in the ground when threatened. It's shell evolved unique colors to suit the reddish sands it lives on. Its main adaption is its new food source. It now mainly feeds on the vandriswoop and its relative the yenaptak. To do so its back shoveling legs are now used as pincers to chop down the vandriswoop. It will lay its eggs in the small puddles left behind its meals and cover them with sand.
