The wargrat split from its ancestor, the ghastrat, and lives only in the Badger Limestone Caves. Living in the nether regions of the cave they have become black and white. Their spots have lengthened so when they are near light the blend in with the shadows. They feed on their ancestor, ylbershpelle bubblehorns and weaker wargrats. The wargrat can eat even the oldest of ylbershpelle bubblehorns, swallowing them whole and alive if needed. The wargrat is a super predator if it weren't for their short lifespans. Living for up to 10 years, wargrats are sexually mature at birth and may have mated three times in their life. Their lifespan is often shorter than 10 years due to other wargrats and the occasional ylbershpelle bubblehorn blocking foods entrance and exit. The wargrat is a remarkable creature and will eat even its own young. They leave their young a week after birth and go back to eating and mating. Wargrats only congregate at mating season, where two males will duel to the death over a receptive female, those that survive these brutal battles are riddled with scars.
