The Woolly Azelak split from the Azelak. It has adapted to live in the high tundra and has grown an even longer coat of warm fur. It has retained color changing abilities, except this time it is in the hairs itself. Since they evolved from the color-changing scales, its actual skin cannot change color, but the woolly hair can. In addition, its back hump has developed into a fat storing hump for the long, dark winters. Herds of Woolly Azelak huddle up during the winter. By spring their eggs are laid and by summer they hatch. Then in fall, the babies grow a thicker coat and are kept in the middle of the herd during the winter. It has developed 2 saber-tooth tusks which it uses like an ice pick to get down to the frozen Glassballs, which can become covered in ice and snow during the colder months.
