Splitting from its ancestor, xeno hookmouth phlyer has become smaller and has lost the ability flyer. This is due to its new home lacks any predators, thus the energy used in flying is a waste. Now its former wings are simply used to photosynthesize while the walk up and down the beach in search of food such as the various hydroglobe species or carrion. They will enter the water in order to go after the slow moving marine filtersquids that frequent the coasts. They care for their young in communal nests with the fathers watching the newborns while the females gather food to feed them with.
