Ancestor:Descendants:

The yuuvee replaced its ancestor, the blue-belly gasglider. With the extinction of the cloud sweeper, they had no where to nest, so they had to adapt. Their offspring now cling to their backs using the hooks on their wings. They have grown to twice their ancestors size and can now filter-feed using their sticky tongue. They will dive through clouds to get as much water and microbes as they can. When hunting tropoworms they will work as a flock and herd them into a ball. Once compressed they will take turns diving through it.

Their skin is a bluish-purple to help protect it from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the atmosphere. Males however have a blue crest which they use to attract mates. Females have a small bluish-purple crest like the rest of their bodies. They also have developed darker lenses over their eyes to keep down the glare of the sun. They frequently use calls from their butt-nostrils. They have to be very loud to hear over the wind and thus are extremely loud. Their lungs have gotten more efficient to deal with the thin air. Their bones have become even lighter to help flying. Their legs are very weak and can no longer support them on the ground. Thus landing is a death sentence. They avoid high winds because of this.
