Ancestor:Descendants:

The system the shrooms use to spread their stickybubblelike spores by letting them stick to fur and skin of animals and mobile plents results in that some spores travel far distances. Especially when flyers catch spores. That is what happened to some spores from the islandshrooms which spread to Bone Swamp. Here there was plenty of dead matter, making the shroom flourish. Here the black swampshroom evolved. The cap is now black since it no longer needs to have bright colors to scare away animals, so the dead matter in the swamp colors the cap black. Other then that the black swampshroom works much like its ancestor.
