The blue palm is the next generation of indigo palm. To defend itself from the climbing sandworm, it has a thicker bark as well as a sticky blue sap that comes out of the segments of the trunk. This sap immobilizes the worm and suffocates it. The trees constantly have dried sap clumps with trapped worms. It is also a bluer color then its past purple plants. Otherwise, it is the same as the indigo palm.
