Blue Palms were a diverse group of organisms that survived on Sagan 4 for over 400 million years. But, alas, they were wiped out when the ice comet hit in the beginning of Week 19.

The blue palms evolved from indigo palms.

Bluepalms are immobile.
Reproduction
Most bluepalms reproduce asexually with airborn spores and budding, the descendants of the marshrub also had asexual seeds packed inside their trunk segments, the segments would be released to spread the seeds. The only sexual bluepalms are the descendants of the pagodapalm, which was able to reproduce by using pollen to exchange genetics.

The blue palm had no significant senses.
