The crystal-cleaner uktank appeared when the small group of raking uktanks left after Ovi Island was flooded and began living on the only other dry area available, the diamiboard. They adapted to rake the hitchhiker hydroglobes off of the top of the diamiboard, and through insular dwarfism and Foster's rule shrunk to only 5 centimeters tall. They use their tube mouth for noise even more now, communicating which diamiboards have a large population of hydroglobes, and to call mates. They replaced their ancestor.
