Ancestor:Descendants:

The dobem split from its ancestor. The dobem has become larger than its ancestor and lives in groups of 5-8 individuals. The dobem has also become omnivorous, which gives it a greater chance of survival than its ancestor. Its legs have become thicker, stronger, and its claws have become shorter and stubby. These adaptations help lift the dobem's body off the ground. The dobem is also more aggressive than its ancestor because of how it will charge towards predators that threaten the group, several of them will gang up on young warmtsudos and trample them to death before eating them, and it will fight other members from a different group of dobems over territory. The dobem has also evolved a thicker skin than its ancestor and large, thick wart-like knobs on its back that give it better protection. Another evolution that helps the dobem is that the offspring are born with the wart-like knobs and are dark pink, which helps them blend in with the tundra gemshrub and ruby cruster. However, this camouflage does not work in the Barlowe Desert and instead, the adult dobems are even more protective of their offspring than those living in the tundra.
