The electro mudswarmer split from its ancestor, doubled in size and moved in to the mud at the rivers edge. Because they can't breath air, when they leave the water they fill their mouths with water, this also keeps them from collapsing. When they run they drag their rears. Each one of the spikes is able to produce a positive or negative charge, so that if more than one spike is touched a circuit can be closed. If close to the water's edge it can also get away by spraying it's ballast water supply, if this does not land it into the water there is no hope for survival.
