The fermi tuffdra split from its ancestor, the marine tuffdra. It moved to warmer waters around Fermi Island. There it was the largest flora and it thrived on all the sunlight it got compared to the crowded polar waters of Fermi Polar Coast. Like its ancestor it can both produce floating seeds and asexually bud off from the parent.
