Ancestor:Descendants:

The globespot gilltail split from its ancestor, the probing gilltail. It has moved to Ovi Salt Lake and Ovi Salt Bog. There it got bigger and now has colorations that blend in with the red-rusty sand and the purple violetglobe and sandglobes. They have primitive chitin plates on their back to protect it better. It is mostly a scavenger but will also feed on saltlake uktank eggs when its the right time. Like its ancestor its uses its "taste" sensors in its beaked to detect the scent of rotting meat and eggs. They will lay their eggs under the sand. They mate once a year.
