Ancestor:Descendants:

The goldbelly cadovermi replaced its ancestor, the cadovermi. They spend much of their time underground in the soil eating the rotting flora and fauna that fall into the soil. They are very similar to in their ancestor and can also hibernate in the soil during the cooler months of the year. However their hibernation cocoons are more like their distant ancestor in that its made of pink silk that helps insulate them from the elements. While hermaphroditic they cannot reproduce with themselves and must seek out a mate. After they have mated they soon give birth to live young. The parent will not take care of them and they must go out on their own after being born.
