Ancestor:Descendants:

The guttoplaques genus group has replaced its ancestors sagavermes guttoplaque and other guttoplaques. It inhabit all species that have a stomach. They help in digestion of food particles its hosts eat. Not only does it get to eat but it keeps the host healthy and thus mutually beneficial to each other. While each species is similar in design they each are adapted to their specific host's biology.
