The hunting darkswarmer split from its ancestor, the jujubee darkswarmer, and now follows the rout of the migrating darkswarmer, as it travels between Jujubee Ocean and LadyM Ocean. It has grown to twice its ancestor's size, and now uses its photosynthesizing abilities that its ancestor neglected to use.
Its cone shaped digestive track elongated, and it now appears like a fifth tentacle at the back end of its body. with this new tentacle, it can change the direction of the expelled pressurized water, increasing its maneuverability in the water, which helps it capture prey much easily. It now has two filtering membranes in its digestive track, to help dissolve organisms as big as 4 cm in length. It still eats microscopic organism and creatures smaller than 4 cm by default, but only hunts the migrating darkswarmer.
The two proto-eyes on its sides evolved to detect more subtle changes in water pressures around it, making them far more helpful organs to detect prey with than its one, top oriented, light sensitive eye.
