Ancestor:Descendants:

The maineiac shocker split from its ancestor. It has followed the maineiac bubblepede to the Maineiac Polar River. Much like its ancestor, the maineiac shocker's 3-pronged mouth produces a strong electrical pulse that stuns it prey so it can eat it. Due to the lack of competition and predators, the maineiac shocker has evolved to eat the dwarf maineiac gilltail along with the maineiac bubblepede. The maineiac shocker is still purple, so that it can blend in with the maineiac bubbleweed. However, because of the dwarf maineiac gilltail having eyesight, the maineiac shocker had to evolve an even greater camouflage in order to keep itself hidden from its prey. The maineiac shocker has done this by shrinking down, elongating, having its fins enlarge, and using its mouth to cling onto the bottom of a maineiac bubbleweed, so it can fool its prey. Then once the prey get close to it, the maineiac shocker immediately shocks its prey and gobbles it up. Otherwise, it is the same as its ancestor.
