The mega brachelak replaced its ancestor the brachelak. In the continuous arms race with the poison pinebu it developed an immunity to its poison and is able to eat the tree's leaves unaffected. Also it has grown even taller to reach the leaves. It is so tall it had to adapt a dual heart to help pump the blood so high up to its head. It can no longer bend down to drink and must get all its water from its food. It will store food in its hump still. It may look small in the picture but is actually quite huge. Due to it eating a poisonous food its flesh has become poisonous itself, especially the hump part which has concentrated poison inside. The knee spikes have become rounded off nails since it no longer needs to defended itself due to it being so poisonous and its huge size. The babies are still vulnerable. Like its ancestor it just eats and chews cud as it crashes through the forest. It feeds exclusively on poison pinebu since the other herbivores are too short to get to its leaves. Its tongue is used like a trunk to grab the leaves. Luckily its neck pouch can hold it all when its mouth is closed.
