Ancestor:Descendants:

The metamorph fee replaced its ancestor, the filtering fee. They now have evolved an advanced life cycle. The adults now produce spores that bud off from their tail. This then grows into a foi-like microscopic larva that has a detritus diet. As a result they have cause the ittiz foi to become extinct. Once they eat enough they will turn into an immobile pupa that transforms its microscopic foi body into a metamorph fee body. Once they leave their thick "chrysalis" they will swim away to filter-feed on microbes in the water.

The adult form now has a simple nervous system and circulatory system. They have brown "pinnaglobin" (manganese based) blood. They must get the oxygen they need from the water by absorbing it through their skin. Like their ancestor they have a simple digestive system in which they filter in food through their mouth, digest and then spit out the waste. Along the sides of their bodies they have a series 6 pairs of primitive eyes to look out for predators and navigate where they are going.
