Ancestor:Descendants:

The foi plague split from it's ancestor the green gumph. It evolved to infect foi and their decedents. It is a deadly disease that keeps the foi from digesting food thus starving its host. It cause them to stop producing the digestive acid on their stomachs. They can stay dormant in the water or snow until a foi slides over it or ingests it. Once exposed to the digestive acids of the foi it will activate and start feeding on its host. By stopping the digestive acids they also will not get digested themselves. They were so successful that they caused the following foi species to become extinct in their range as well as themselves; millifoi, sauceback cherfoi, carpet foi, mohawk foi, metamorph fee, and cherfoi. In addition the following species went extinct because they ate only foi species; false-larval sauceback.
