Ancestor:Descendants:

The northern glasstower split from its ancestor, the glass tower, and has moved to the northernwestern regions of Drake. Its new structure is the result of an arms race with its symbiont, the northern triwalker. The taller diveskimos would be selected for, as they could reach more of the fruit, sometimes digging too far into the flesh and killing the tower. The tower grew larger, and cut off most of the fruit with its transparent shell. They grow in clusters, with the oldest towers in the center and cryobowls scattered through the space in between.
