The parasitic cave fessurum split from its ancestor and now feeds on the blood of iron fauna. Its front legs are thin ribbons that magnetize to latch onto its host, while its hind legs are more conventional using large spikes to hold on. Its grasper-mouths are used to punch open the crevices between its hosts armor and its green nostrils have ceased being tubes.
