Ancestor:Descendants:

The phawk replaced its ancestor, the pluzzurd in the Huggs-Yokto Desert region. The pluzzurd still exists in other biomes however. It has grown larger and can better use the desert updrafts to stay aloft for longer periods of time with little effort. Their eyes have gotten extremely good and can see a small desert notooth from high up in the clouds. It will swoop down and grab it with its newly evolved talons which have developed with one talon per limb; thus all 4 limbs work like a single claw. The beak as also evolved into a hook to better rip off the flesh of its prey. Like their ancestor, they are very opportunistic and will eat dead fauna they can find as well.
