Ancestor:Descendants:

The pillnibble split from the nonibble on the Yokto Island. It has adapted to a diet that consists entirely of dead meat. The incisors have adapted to cut pieces of flesh from the corpse. It has also shrunk considerably. The wings have improved to be just as photosynthetic as the diminutive notooth, the nonibble's ancestor. When giving birth, the mother pillnibble walks to a corpse to deliver her babies, so they can have a meal after they are born, sort of like a fly laying eggs in a corpse.
