Ancestor:Descendants:

Splitting from its ancestor, the plated-carapace krugg has taken to the tropical jungles of Darwin, where it now feeds on the eggs of other organisms, but now primarily feeds upon the roots of the numerous capped brystal, similarly to the ancestral krugg. Now more than a meter in length, it is covered in several overlapping layers of armor, perfect for protecting it from almost any attacked, especially as it can now retract its head and limbs back onto its body. Other than this, they have not changed that much from their ancestor.

Like an armored tank, is moves across the jungle floor, forming herds of several dozen that move as one. As they trample small marbleflora and pioneeroots underfoot, they inadvertently nourish the soil and aid other flora as they grow.
