Ancestor:Descendants:

The plentshirshu split from its ancestor, the whiskerslurp. It has moved to a new region. Its face has sensitive feelers which it uses to taste the air or soil around it. They keep it wet to better pick up tastes. Its is now a carnivore and scavenger. It is opportunistic and very tough. Thus it will fight larger predators like the baarzzly or mountain flunejaw over a carcass.

Despite developing a great sense of smell and touch, they will still use their large ears for echolocation when above ground. When underground they will dig large burrow to sleep in a raise their young. They will also dig for prey such as vermees.

Their bodies are strong and compact. Their butt-nostrils no-longer resemble a second head but they have a large set of spines around the butt-nostril to protect it from predators bites. The spines are barbed and can detach if stuck in a predator. When digging tunnels its ears and spines can fold down, so not to get stuck.
