Ancestor:Descendants:

The purple plague replaced its ancestor, the purple sickness. They have now become very lethal to their hosts. Once infected it attract the cells that the outer skin of its hosts. It uses its thorns to not only latch on but help infect its host. In the case of the solar sately, the hydrogen filled bubble is most affected. It gets so bad that they could not float and could not enter the atmosphere anymore. However the barnibarb was just as infected but they use the zeploon to stay aloft.

The purple plague would have spread to the oceans too but every time it would be exposed to the seas they would become assimilated by the odoplaque. Those on the beach were not so lucky and it was able to spread to all the beaches that the solar sately was. Over just a few generations the solar sately's populations could not sustain itself and became extinct in all biomes. The purple sickness thus died out in all biomes except for the Atmosphere (Troposphere) where it only lives on barnibarbs. As a result of the solar sately becoming extinct the herbivorous cloudswarmer became extinct too.
