Much of the adult krugg's diet overlaps with other, similarly sized organisms, leading to competition. Due to this, it often must fight off other fauna for access to fallen fruit. They will even fight over rotting fruit, but if it tastes the fruit and detects alcohol, it won't bother defending the fruit any further. They also won't bother fighting any competitor less than one-fourth their size, thus allowing perfume kruggs to eat beside them. They fight by pushing away or overturning competitors with their long horns.
Typically pushy kruggs encounter each other while feeding beneath trees with particularly abundant fruit. They mate and lay eggs immediately, often laying the eggs beneath fruit. Incidentally, this habit means they unintentionally protect their young from competition with dracisketters. Dracisketters eat both fallen fruit and krugg eggs, so in keeping dracisketters away from the area, they also prevent dracisketters from eating the krugg eggs available to its young.
