Ancestor:Descendants:

The red-eye seaswimmer split from its ancestor and made its way to the waterways of Maineiac island. Small, solitary predators, they cruise through the water, searching for prey. They dominate the predatory niche, and will follow prey all the way into the Maineiac Salt Bog. It is here were they raise their young in relative safety, feeding on what species or corpses drift downstream to them. Their eye color is the result of a genetic mutation which became dominate within the species.
