Ancestor:Descendants:

The schooling waterworm split from its ancestor and doubled in size. It now lives in tight schools near the surface where it feeds on anything small that falls into the water(small flyers and shroom 'fruit'). It will also feed on any tiny animals or plant bits already in the water, including fry and the occasional dead body. The top of the worm is orange-brown to hide it against the brown riverbed, and the underside is silver to blend in with the sky and water surface. Its body is now more hydrodynamic, and its tail has changed shape for faster swimming. The fins have lengthened and are tougher, they are now used for steering.
