Ancestor:Descendants:

The serpmander replaced its ancestor, the stowaway harmbless, in Dixon. They have evolved a longer, more snake-like body to help it climb and wrap around branches. Their plates now run down their backs to help protect the serpmander from predators. And its six eyes have grown much larger to look out for predators. Like their ancestor they use their lobed lips to help grasp small flora. They can store food in their cheek pouches too. While they are mainly terrestrial they can swim well.
