Ancestor:Descendants:

Shrew fever split from its ancestor plent fever. Shrew fever is a horrible disease that is spread through tainted food. When shrews started eating plents it mutated and spread shrew population of Glicker. When theses carnivorous Shrews ate the same meal saliva with the disease would be left on the dead prey and thus get passed on to another shrew. Even licking each other to clean each other's fur helped spread the disease. Its effects are: weakness, stomach pains, headache, chills, delirium, confusion, loss of appetite, vomiting, and of course a high fever. If left untreated, the infected Shrews can die. The insidious part about it is that it can stay dormant in a shrew's systems for days without showing symptoms, thus spreading itself not only within the shrews social groups but any other shrews that scavenge a corpse they leave behind. This disease is common throughout Glicker and only infects warm-blooded shrews.
