Ancestor:Descendants:

Shrew plague replaced its ancestor shrew fever. It was one of the most deadly plagues ever to evolve on Sagan 4. It was so effective it nearly wiped out all of the shrews.

This disease became so effective because it was spread via the death soriparasite. Death soriparasites developed an immunity to the plague and help spread across all of Glicker. Once bitten by the death soriparasites the shrew plague causes shrews to become weak and tired. In its later stages it causes a high fever and chills. This increase in temperature will literally kill its cells and cause it to die. It takes a few days for it to incubate thus allowing it to spread before the creature even knows it.

It was so effective that once the shrews were gone it went extinct as well when the death soriparasite went extinct due to lack of hosts.

The shrew plague killed off the following creatures.

The only shrews that survived were the following creatures.
