Ancestor:Descendants:

Snottazzle has not only replaced its ancestor, the sauceback plague but has replaced sauceback fever as well. It has become the dominant sauceback disease in Wright. Its success is faster reproduction, infection without symptoms to the host and less hosts die, thus can re-infect hosts after they have gotten better. They also have developed barbed prongs on the front so they can attach to blood cells better to consume them.

It causes the sauceback to cough and wheeze and have runny breathing holes. It spreads through the air. Unlike its ancestor the saucebacks never become so sick they cannot function unless they are very old or weak. While rarely fatal it is annoying to saucebacks and they do have trouble sniffing out prey when infected thus having to rely on their hearing.
