The thorny bubbleweed split from its ancestor, the gateway bubbleweed. It has left the cave evrioment and lives along the western coasts of Glicker. Due to the constant feeding from the various bubblepedes over the millenniums it finally has evolved a thorny defense to keep them from climbing up their stalks to eat their leaves. They also have grown slightly larger since they are no longer in a cramped enviroment.
